Board of Directors
Prosperity Denver Fund has a seven-member Board of Directors, four of whom are appointed by the Mayor and one of whom is approved by City Council. The Board is responsible for the implementation of the ordinance and reports annually to the Mayor, City Council, and Auditor. Board meetings are open to the public.

As Chair of Prosperity Denver Fund, Theresa Peña oversees all operations and ensures the Fund operates efficiently and transparently. She is an engaged community member and primarily involved in local education initiatives.

Jason Wardrip is an active member of the Prosperity Denver Fund Board. He serves as the business manager for the Colorado Building and Construction Trades Council.

Polica Houston is an active member of the Prosperity Denver Fund Board. He is an expert thought partner to numerous educators and organizations as they navigate turnaround, leadership, and culture challenges.

Milagros Barsallo Rubio is an active member of the Prosperity Denver Fund Board. She also serves as the Outreach Director in the Denver Mayor’s Office.

Stephen Kurtz serves as Vice Chair and Treasurer of the Prosperity Denver Fund Board, providing guidance and leadership. He is also Chairman and CEO of MuscleSound ®, Inc.

Diana Romero Campbell is an active member of the Prosperity Denver Fund Board. She is the Councilwoman representing District 4 on Denver City Council.
